Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Xploray website and its course materials. You agree to them by ticking the box before you sign in, and by using the materials. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Who may use Xploray

You sign in with a Google account. Keep that account to yourself, and do not sign in as someone else. If you are under 18, use Xploray with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.

What you may do with the course materials

The lessons, practice sheets, programs, diagrams and other materials on Xploray belong to Xplorebits Technologies. We let you use them to learn. In detail:

  • You may read, study and practise with them as much as you like.
  • You may copy the example programs into your own code, change them and run them, while you learn.
  • You may share them with other people for free, for example with a friend or a classmate you are studying with.
  • You may not publish them anywhere, such as on a website, a blog, a video channel, social media or in a course of your own.
  • You may not sell them, or charge anyone for them, in any form or as part of anything else.

If you want to use the materials in any other way, ask us first at hello@xploray.com.

Using the site fairly

Do not try to break into the site, read other students' data, or download the materials in bulk with automated tools. We may close the account of anyone who does, or who breaks these terms.

Free to use

The courses on Xploray are free. Being free does not change what you may do with the materials: the rules above still apply.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep the materials correct and the site running, but we provide them as they are. We cannot promise that they are free of mistakes, that the site will always be available, or that a program will work on your hardware. Take care when you connect circuits or flash boards: you are responsible for your own equipment. As far as the law allows, Xplorebits Technologies is not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or the materials.

Changes

We may change these terms. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Xploray after a change, you accept the new terms.
