Privacy Policy

This page explains what we collect when you use Xploray, why we collect it, and what we do with it. The short version: we never sell your data. We use it to run your courses, to follow your progress, and to get in touch with you by email. News about new courses comes only if you ask for it.

What we collect

• Your Google account details. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, your email address and your profile photo.
• Your progress. The answers you give on practice sheets are saved to your account, so they are there when you come back. We may also record which lessons you open and complete.
• Your choices. When you agreed to these terms, and whether you want our news by email.
• How you use the site, once you are signed in. While you are signed in, LogRocket records what happens on the page: the pages you open, where you click and scroll, what you type into the practice sheets, and any errors. We use it to find and fix problems, and to see where students get stuck. Nothing is recorded before you sign in.
• What your browser keeps. A cookie keeps you signed in. Your browser also keeps a copy of your name and photo, so pages show them at once.

How we use it

• To sign you in and show you your courses.
• To save your practice answers and follow your progress through a course.
• To improve the lessons, for example by seeing which questions students find hard.
• To contact you about your courses. We may email you about your progress and the courses you take. Before you sign in, you tick a box to agree to this, and you cannot sign in without it.
• To send you news, only if you ask. New courses, workshops and batches go only to students who opted in, either with the second box when signing in or on the Account page. You can turn it off there at any time.

Who else sees it

We do not sell, rent or trade your data, and we do not give it to advertisers. To run the site we use a few services that store or process data for us:

• Google (Firebase) for sign-in and for saving your progress.
• Cloudflare for hosting the site and keeping you signed in.
• LogRocket for recording how signed-in students use the site, so we can fix problems.

These services use your data only to do that work for us. We may also share data when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account details and progress while your account is active. Email hello@xploray.com and we will delete your account and your progress.

Your choices

• Ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct it or delete it.
• Turn our news emails on or off on your Account page.

To ask for a copy, a correction or a deletion, email hello@xploray.com from the address you sign in with, so we know the account is yours. For anything else, write to the same address.

Changes

We may change this policy. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using Xploray after a change, you accept the new policy.
